In July of 2009, KCRS began a long transition from the Practice Partner system we had used for ten years to Centricity. Centricity allows us to greatly increase our efficiency and improve accurate documentation of patient interaction. In late October we officially went live with the new system. While we are still in the process of moving records from the old system, and still discovering new features or areas for improvement -either of our office process or of the product itself - it has been a very positive experience. With the help of the HealthLink team from Harrison Medical Center, doctor's using Centricity will soon be able to share records electronically, receiving lab results and other reports directly into their patient's charts. We are very grateful to the team at HeathLink and at HealthCo (third party vendor for the Practice Management Solution) for their support and flexibility in this process. |
